In 2024/25 we were very grateful to have the support of 1027 volunteers, who gave more than 17,000 hours of time and expertise, raising career aspirations and broadening horizons through workshops, networking events, interview skills practice, and opening up their workplaces for young people to visit and develop their experience.
It doesn’t matter if you have had a 50 year career or if you’re in your first job, you will bring huge value simply by sharing you experiences and career journey.
We are always seeking new collaborations and constantly need volunteers to contribute to our growing work, from any and all sectors. There are a wide range of activities you can support as a volunteer with Youth Careers Collective, to help us change lives, including:
- Supporting in-school career and employability activities and events
- Supporting mock interviews
- Hosting students on an industry insight visit
- Hosting work experience placements
- Becoming a one-to-one Career Mentor
This is skills-based, meaningful and rewarding volunteering, and Youth Careers Collective provides all the support you need to excel in your role.
