Sessional Youth Workers (summer 2026)

OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS

We are currently looking for experienced freelance Youth Workers to support delivery of our Summer Jobs Programme across West London this July and August.

This programme supports young people aged 16 to 21 to access paid work placements, helping them build confidence, develop employability skills and gain valuable experience in the workplace during the summer holidays.

The role involves providing mentoring, pastoral support, workplace visits and safeguarding throughout each young person’s placement. Youth Workers will play an important role in helping young people navigate challenges, stay engaged and make the most of their experience.

We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with strong youth work experience supporting young people facing barriers to education or employment, disengagement, or risk of becoming NEET. Experience building trusted relationships, supporting personal development and working with vulnerable young people is highly valued.

Salary: £175 per day (plus expenses), 38 days from 6th July to 28th August.

Marketing and Communications Manager

This position will bring clarity, consistency and impact to marketing and communications across the charity. The focus will be to raise our profile, tell our story, and articulate our impact, to help to build meaningful relationships with diverse partners and stakeholders.

The postholder will take a joined-up approach across digital, media, events and stakeholder communications, ensuring our brand is consistently represented, and our work reaches and engages the right audiences.

Salary: £40,891 per annum (plus flexi-working, generous leave allowance, volunteering days, life insurance and 6% matched pension)

Grants and Community Engagement Manager

This position will bring ambition, ideas, clarity and consistency to income generation functions across the organisation. It will lead on bid-writing, as well as relationship building, cultivation and stewardship of local and national grant makers.

The postholder will also help to develop new income streams for the charity, including building and mobilising a network of supporters and donors, to drive individual giving, sponsorship and fundraising activities.
